Cairo
is a comparatively young city, founded near the banks of the Nile River

remain. Most building blocks weigh between two and three tons, Originally
each had a layer of fine limestone, but most of that has been taken away
to adorn new buildings in Cairo. The Great Pyramid covers 13 acres. The
museum in Cairo houses the burial trappings of King Tut.
