Octopus
AgaveThis fast-growing plant has a sprawling, twisted form with leaves that have smooth edges without a sharp tip. Unlike most agaves, this plant does not pup. It reaches about three or four feet high and up to six feet wide.

Occasional to none in areas with more than three inches of annual rainfall or where it receives extra runoff. Supply some water in summers to keep leaves plump.
Full sun, light shade.
Tolerates most types except waterlogged.
Little to none.
Lower leaves may become dry or untidy looking and need to be removed. Susceptible to snout weevils. Dies after bloom.
