This deciduous hybrid becomes a large shrub or small tree, growing vigorously to as high and wide as 20 feet. It has crisp, bright green foliage. Large plants develop a thick trunk and branch structure, eventually becoming gnarled trees. It remains a shrub in frosty areas.
