Here is a list of resources you may find useful when planning your worship
services. I have divided them according to the course modules.

Books

One Voice. Augsburg Fortress, Minneapolis, 1995.
This hymnal was "prepared as an additional volume of resources for Lutherans
at worship. It is intended to stand beside the principal worship book presently
in use and to supplement its contents." It addresses the diversity of our
society with hymns from varying cultural backgrounds.
Lutheran
Book of Worship: Ministers Desk Edition. Augsburg Fortress,

This book contains all the liturgies, including the music for the prefaces,
all the psalms, and several occasional services not found in the LBW.
The
Altar Guild and Sacristy Handbook. S. Anita Stauffer. Fortress Press,
Philadelphia, 1978.
A guide for altar guild members as they "prepare the chancel and its furnishings
for corporate worship."
Preparing
the Assembly's Worship: A Worship Handbook. Craig Mueller.
Augsburg Fortress, Minneapolis, 2002.
An overview of the work of the worship committee or other group that organizes
and leads the congregation in a vibrant worship life.
Luther's
Works: Liturgy and Hymns. Vol. 53. Ulrich S. Leupold, editor. Fortress
Press, Philadelphia, 1965.
Luther's writings. Commentary is given on hymn texts and tunes by the editor.

You’ll find lyrics, scores, MIDI files, pictures, history, and more.
- Oremus Hymnal: http://oremus.org/hymnal/
This online hymnal contains texts and MIDI files of tunes used in much of
the English-speaking world, with particular emphasis on the Anglican tradition.
Currently, twenty-two Anglican hymnals have been indexed. Eventually there
will be over 5000 pages on this site; currently the number is about 2400.

Complete hymns and a short biography of Martin Luther. Text includes original
German and an English translation. A MIDI file for the melody is available
